Carnival Cruises' Carnival Magic Summer / Fall 2021 New York Program Canceled

December 14, 2020 - Carnival Cruises has announced that cruises for the Carnival Magic, along with select other ships, have been canceled though September 24, 2021 - basically canceling her entire 2021 New York Cruise season. The delay in the reintroduction of the Carnival Magic is based on restrictive CDC guidelines for cruise lines to re-enter service along with an extended dry-docking.

According to a Carnival Statement…... "The decision has been made to postpone the drydocks which were planned for Carnival Valor, Carnival Magic and Carnival Paradise. All three were scheduled to undergo refurbishments early in 2021 before returning to service. Now, those plans will instead shift to some point later in the year."

Carnival Cruises is expected to return to New York in June 2022 sailing to Bermuda; New England & Canada; or the Caribbean. Current plans have the Carnival Magic sailing these 2022 itineraries.
