Carnival to Return to Service in 2021
Carnival Cruises Removes December Cruises From Their Website - Hopes to Return to Cruising in 2021.

All of Carnival’s Cruises for the month of December has been removed from their website. This comes on the heels of an announcement earlier in the month where Carnival said that it would need 60 Days’ notice to resume operations. Previously Carnival had trimmed its December deployment to a handful of ships sailing short cruises from Miami and Port Canaveral. Those plans have since changed and it appears that January will be the next possible time for the cruise line to resume sailing. It should also be noted that the majority of the ships in the Carnival (and other cruise lines) fleet have a bear number of crew working on the ships. The cruise lines would need lead time to assemble and train a crew and work the logistics of getting those people to the US to report to duty.

Carnival Cruises had previously announced a December planned, controlled introduction to service in December from 2 ports in Florida - Miami and Port Canaveral. Carnival was limiting its start up to only 6 ships including (from Miami) the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Horizon and (from Port Canaveral) Carnival Liberty, Carnival Elation and Carnival Breeze.
