No Cruise Ships In New York
One year since a cruise ship sailed from New York or New Jersey.

Today marks one year anniversary since a cruise ship arrived or sailed from the port of New York.

On March 15, 2020 the Norwegian Bliss departed the Manhattan Cruise Terminal after unloading passengers from a 7 day Florida Bahamas Cruise. The Norwegian Bliss remainded in lower Manhattan (with no passengers) near the Veranzaro-Narrows Bridge, before heading to Jacksonville, Florida three days later.

On March 16, Norwegian Cruise Lines' Norwegian Gem disembarked passengers at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal from a 10 Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise and departed from New York the same day heading to Jacksonville, Florida.

On March 22nd, Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Sea disembarked passengers in Cape Liberty Cruise Port after completing a 7 Day Florida Bahamas sailing. The Anthem of the Seas promptly left the port at 4:00 PM on the same day and headed south as if she was sailing with a full compliment of passengers. No one was onboard.

Hopefully by the late fall, the cruise ships will trickle back to the port of New York to resume cruising.
